3 Ways Energy Healing Can Help You During Quarantine

Our quarantine game has been strong as we close in on month three of social distancing. For lots of us, this has taken a toll on our mental and physical health. We are dealing with different types of stress than we may have pre-pandemic. But, nonetheless, our bodies still handle the stress in ways it always has. The key to managing the stress is to have tools to help you through this time of quarantine. This is where energy healing comes into play. I’m going to be explaining what exactly energy healing is and the ways you can benefit from it from the comfort of your own home.
What is energy healing?
There are many types of energy healing such as pranic healing, quantum healing, crystal healing and reiki healing. I am going to be focusing on reiki and crystal healing today. Energy healing, such as reiki, is when a reiki practitioner is used as a channel to transfer universal life force energy to a living entity such as a person, animal or even plants. Reiki uses universal life force energy to aid relaxation, assist in the body's natural healing processes, and develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Reiki can only be performed by a certified practitioner. Crystal healing works similar to reiki where the energy of the crystal is then transferred from the crystal to a living entity. Each crystal holds it's own properties. Based on each crystals' property, you can use crystals to help you manage stress, find focus or even help you sleep. Oftentimes, crystal healing is used in conjunction with a reiki session. If you'd love to know more about crystals, let me know, and I will dig more into crystals in a future post. Reiki and crystal energy can be felt in person and even long distance. How does this work? Energy is everywhere my friend, simple as that. Think of your cell phone, you don’t need to be next to the person to talk to them. Just as the messages are sent via electromagnetic waves, reiki and crystal energy work the same way.
Reiki can help you fight fatigue
Yep, one 30 minute reiki session can help raise your vibration and balance your energy. The result, more energy...literally. Our lack of motivation and fatigue stems from a blocked or closed sacral chakra. The sacral chakra, also known as the second or naval chakra, resides just below your belly button. This chakra is where your creativity and motivation lie. Some people with adrenal or chronic fatigue often have an unbalanced sacral chakra. Too much stress, of any kind, can do a number on our bodies. Eating properly and moving your body regularly are great at helping you keep your energy up. But, making sure those chakras are clear and flowing by a certified reiki practitioner, should also be a part of your wellness routine. Want to know more about chakras? Let’s talk more about motivation
As mentioned above, motivation comes from a healthy sacral chakra but there are two other chakras that help as well, solar plexus and root chakra. Together these three lower chakras, solar plexus, sacral and root chakra, helps our physical being stay happy and healthy. How can we keep our chakra systems healthy at home? Some ways are to go outside in nature, draw, write, create, practice yoga, meditate daily, set healthy boundaries, have a reiki session and/or move your body. If your solar plexus, sacral and root chakras are blocked or out of balance, you could notice some of these symptoms; digestive issues, anger, frustration, low self esteem and lack of security....just to name a few. I know you're feeling one of these, am I right? These are your signals that something isn't right and it's time to implement one of the above exercises (and probably have a reiki session).
Reiki can help you manage stress and anxiety
Studies have shown that people who have received treatment for six consecutive weeks have shown immediate and long term improvements in depression, stress and hopelessness according to this article by Psych Central. I believe it was Dr Mehmet Oz who really shined the light on reiki saying it was the number one integrative therapy to try. It is believed that adding reiki to your spiritual routine, can help to significantly reduce stress and anxiety. Reiki helps to balance and cleanse all the chakras bringing a healthy flow to your energy and raise your vibration. Keep in mind, every session can range from person to person and no one will experience it the same. Everyone’s energy is different.
